As political factions vie for control of this power, Bell becomes entangled with The Message, a clandestine organization, and must decide whether to save humanity or let it destroy itself. The influence of the Starset aesthetic is palpable: cold, metallic corridors, vast orbital platforms, and a sense of cosmic loneliness.
