The movie begins with Juno (Natalie Mendoza), a young woman who suffers from claustrophobia, joining a group of experienced cavers, including Alex (Shauna Macdonald), Rebecca (Natalie Jackson), and others, on an expedition to explore the uncharted Cheam Hill cave system in the Appalachian Mountains.
