The first season introduces viewers to Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, two brothers who have been traveling the country in their iconic 1967 Chevrolet Impala, hunting ghosts, demons, and other supernatural entities. After their mother’s tragic death, the brothers were raised by their father, John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who instilled in them a love for hunting. The early seasons focus on the brothers’ struggles to balance their lives as hunters with their desire for a normal life.
