The game follows the story of Dragon Ball Z, starting from the Saiyan Saga and going all the way up to the Kid Buu Saga. Players take on the role of Goku, and later, his friends and allies, as they battle to defend the Earth against powerful enemies. Along the way, they’ll encounter iconic characters from the series, including Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo.
