The Kurdish lawyer, whose name has been withheld for security reasons, hails from a region plagued by conflict, displacement, and human rights abuses. The Kurdish people have long been denied their basic rights and freedoms, and their struggle for self-determination has been met with brutal force by the authorities. It is against this backdrop that our lawless lawyer emerged, driven by a fierce determination to make a difference.
Growing up in a refugee camp, the young lawyer witnessed firsthand the injustices perpetrated against his community. He saw families torn apart, homes destroyed, and innocent lives lost.
