The Vision of God’s Glory The chapter begins with a description of Isaiah’s vision of God’s glory:

God’s response is that the judgment will continue until the land is desolate and the people are scattered. Isaiah is called to proclaim a message of judgment and warning to the people of Judah, but it is a message that they will not understand or heed. Isaiah responds to this commission with a question:
He asks how long he must continue to proclaim this message of judgment, and God responds:
