The idea for DEXTER.THE.GAME was born out of a passion project by a small team of developers who were fans of the TV show. We wanted to create a game that would allow players to experience the thrill of being Dexter, while also staying true to the spirit of the show. We spent countless hours brainstorming and planning, pouring over episodes of the series and discussing the character’s motivations and actions. DEXTER.THE.GAME-POSTMORTEM

From a technical standpoint, one of the biggest challenges we faced was implementing a robust stealth mechanic. We wanted to create a system that would allow players to sneak and hide, while also providing a sense of tension and urgency. This required a complex interplay between AI, physics, and level design, and we spent many hours tweaking and refining the system to get it just right.

Looking back on the development process for DEXTER.THE.GAME, there are a number of lessons that we learned that we can apply to future projects.

We also gathered feedback from fans of the show and gamers, to ensure that the game was meeting their expectations and providing a compelling experience. This feedback was invaluable in helping us to refine the game and make it the best it could be.
