Card En Ciel -

The idea for Card En Ciel was born out of Romain’s love of both card throwing and skydiving. As a child, he was always fascinated by the art of card throwing, and spent hours practicing in front of a mirror, perfecting his technique. As he got older, he discovered the thrill of skydiving, and was immediately hooked.

“It took a lot of trial and error to get it right,” he admits. “But once I did, I was hooked. There’s something about the combination of the thrill of skydiving and the precision of card throwing that’s just addictive.” Card En Ciel

With the help of a friend who was an experienced skydiver, Romain began experimenting with throwing cards while in mid-air. It wasn’t easy, of course – the wind resistance and turbulence made it difficult to control the cards, and Romain had to develop a whole new technique. The idea for Card En Ciel was born
