The Avadhuta Gita (अवधूत गीता) is one of the most radical and profound texts of Advaita Vedanta (non-dual philosophy). Attributed to Dattatreya , a revered sage and avatara (incarnation) considered the embodiment of the Absolute, this text captures the realization of an avadhuta —one who has completely shaken off all worldly attachments, social conventions, and even the notion of a personal self.
